Podernuovo

Podernuovo works the volcanic soils of Cinigiano in the Montecucco zone, where Sangiovese and select red varieties thrive under Maremma's continental climate. The producer focuses on a single expression: Montecucco Sangiovese DOCG, aged for a minimum of 17 months to develop complexity and structure. Each vintage reflects the terroir of this seven-municipality region in southern Tuscany, where limestone and mineral-rich earth shape the wine's character from vintage to vintage.
