Poggio di Bortolone

Poggio di Bortolone operates in Chiaramonte Gulfi, at the heart of Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG in southeastern Sicily. The producer crafts rosso wines from Nero d'Avola and Frappato grapes, indigenous varieties that define this protected designation spanning fourteen municipalities. Each bottle requires a minimum of eight months' aging and reaches at least 12.5% alcohol, building the structure and depth characteristic of Vittoria's volcanic soils and Mediterranean climate.
