Prato al pozzo works within Montecucco's seven-municipality zone, where volcanic soils and elevation shape Sangiovese character. The producer crafts wines at 13% alcohol minimum, aging for 17 months in careful conditions. Located in Cinigiano, at the heart of Grosseto's wine country, the estate interprets Tuscany's red varieties—Sangiovese paired with selected companion grapes—to reveal mineral precision and structure specific to this southwestern terroir.
