RAMELLO s.s.a, based in La Morra in the Cuneo hills of Piedmont, works across four DOCG denominations defined by their native Nebbiolo and Dolcetto grapes. The producer holds ground in regions spanning from Barolo's 11-municipality zone, where deep reds age 38 months minimum, to the more agile Barbaresco (26 months minimum) and the Dolcetto territories of Dogliani and Diano d'Alba. Each wine reflects the strict requirements of its appellation, from Barolo's 13% minimum alcohol to Dolcetto's lighter expression at 12%.
