Salicutti

Salicutti occupies a southeast slope of Montalcino, where former agricultural land transformed into a 4.5-hectare vineyard three decades ago. Owners Sabine and Felix Eichbauer—who run Munich's Tantris restaurant—steward 11 hectares bounded by a namesake stream, integrating vines with olive groves and forest. Their philosophy treats land as something to serve and pass forward: a living inheritance. From this integrated estate emerges Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Sangiovese aged 48 months minimum, built on the conviction that terroir speaks loudest when respect precedes extraction.
