Founded in 1973 by Sandro Fay as an expansion of a small family operation, Società Agricola Fay now spans 15 hectares across Valtellina's terraced mountain vineyards. Since 1998, his children Marco and Elena have steered production toward highlighting each vineyard's distinct character—shaped by soil composition and altitude between 350 and 900 metres. Their Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) vines yield Sforzato and Valtellina Superiore, both requiring substantial aging to develop their signature structure and depth.
