Sassolo

Sassolo produces Carmignano DOCG, one of Tuscany's most structured red wines, from the historic two-municipality zone southwest of Florence. Their rosso draws from Sangiovese as its backbone, enriched by Canaiolo nero and Cabernet varieties, then aged for a minimum of 20 months to develop the complexity that defines this 12.5% alcohol minimum designation. Each vintage reflects the limestone-rich terroir of this compact, storied region.
