Sassonia operates in Precenicco, at the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia's northeastern wine region. The producer works within Friuli DOC, where 156 municipalities define one of Italy's most versatile appellations. Sassonia cultivates the zone's signature whites—Friulano, Pinot grigio, Sauvignon, and Ribolla gialla among others—alongside Chardonnay and aromatic varieties. The range spans still wines, reds, and sparkling expressions, each anchored by minimum alcohol thresholds that reflect the region's terroir precision and continental climate.
