Scopone

Scopone sits in the Val d'Orcia's southeastern crescent, where Sangiovese has thrived for centuries on mineral-rich soils nearly 500 metres above sea level. Since 2021, owner Cristina Minari has steered the 12-hectare estate toward the forefront of Montalcino's elite producers, building on vineyards planted through the 1990s. The property's name echoes a wild heather wood—and a principle: here, excellence grows naturally. Brunello di Montalcino emerges from patient 48-month aging, structured around pure Sangiovese, defining the Val d'Orcia's austere power.
