SOC. AGRIC. “LA BRUNA”

Soc. Agric. "La Bruna" operates from Monterosso Grana, in the foothills of Piedmont's Cuneo province, where generations of cheesemakers have refined their craft since the late nineteenth century. The cooperative specializes in Raschera DOP, the full- or medium-fat pressed cheese with pale ivory paste and fine texture that defines the region's cheese identity across 248 municipalities. The family lineage traces to grandfather Magno's alpine dairy; today's producers continue that mountain heritage, transforming milk from their Brown cattle into Raschera wheels that embody Piedmont's cheesemaking discipline and terroir.
