Soc. Agricola Monte Castelon works the hillsides of Marano di Valpolicella, where the Tommasi family oversees every step from vineyard to bottle. Silvano and Maurizio, continuing their father Bruno's vision, cultivate the traditional grapes—Corvina Veronese, Rondinella—that define Amarone della Valpolicella. Full control of the wine chain earned them membership in FIVI, the federation of independent producers. Their dried-grape Amarones spend a minimum 24 months aging to reach the deep complexity that makes the zone renowned across northern Italy.
