Soc. Agricola Spada works ten hectares in the heart of Valpolicella Classica, where San Pietro in Cariano's slopes frame their pursuit of Amarone and Recioto. Founded on Renzo Spada's intimate knowledge of appassimento—the art of drying grapes—the estate treats each vintage as a fresh calibration rather than a repeat. Their Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella vines yield wines of forceful character: Amarone DOCG at minimum 14% alcohol after 24 months, and Recioto DOCG in dry and sparkling styles.
