SOC. COOP. Contadini Pennesi is a cooperative of growers centred in Loreto Aprutino, in Pescara's Abruzzo hills, within the Aprutino Pescarese DOP zone spanning 46 municipalities. The collective presses extra virgin olive oil from its piedmont orchards, yielding oils that range from green to gold with low-to-medium fruity character and herbaceous undertones. The cooperative model allows smallholder farmers to pool resources and maintain quality standards across the denomination's vast territory.
