SOLAT S.C.A.

SOLAT S.C.A., established in 1960 on the Lombard plain between Leno and Bagnolo Mella, operates as a cooperative dedicated to Grana Padano DOP production. The dairy sources milk directly from member farms and transforms it into wheels aged 10 to 20 months—slow maturation in cooked-paste technique that yields the protected designation's characteristic hard texture. Today SOLAT supplies wholesale markets and processors with whole wheels or pre-portioned, grated forms, maintaining the foundational model that has sustained its mission for over six decades.
