Surrau operates in Arzachena, at the heart of Gallura's northeastern reaches, where granite soils and the Mistral wind shape one of Italy's most distinctive white wine zones. The producer works exclusively with Vermentino, the signature grape of this 23-municipality region, crafting it across the full spectrum—from still bianco to crisp spumante and delicate frizzante—each expression reflecting Gallura's maritime terroir and mineral precision. At minimum 12% alcohol, these wines capture the cool-climate discipline that defines Vermentino di Gallura DOCG.
