TACCONE ANTONIO

Antonio Taccone operates in Celano, in the heart of Abruzzo's L'Aquila province, where he raises Agnello del Centro Italia IGP—Protected Geographical Indication lamb from central Italy's vast network of 1,403 municipalities. His animals follow a traditional feeding regimen: milk-fed in their earliest weeks, then transitioned to pasture grazing across the region's varied terrain. The IGP classification encompasses light and heavy carcasses, as well as castrated animals, each reflecting distinct production methods that Taccone's work helps preserve.
