Tenuta Bastonaca operates in Vittoria, the heart of southeastern Sicily's most distinctive wine zone. The estate crafts Cerasuolo di Vittoria DOCG, a rosso that blends Nero d'Avola and Frappato—the only two grape varieties permitted in this 14-municipality denomination. Each vintage requires eight months minimum aging, a rhythm that extracts the complexity these indigenous Sicilian varieties demand. At 12.5% alcohol minimum, the wine balances structure with the mineral precision the volcanic terroir imparts.
