Tenuta Colfalco – Ruggeri G. Agricola produces Montefalco Sagrantino, a structured red born in Umbria's five-municipality zone. The winery focuses on the region's indigenous Sagrantino grape, crafting wines that demand patience: the rosso ages a minimum of 37 months, allowing tannins to integrate fully. Both the dry and passito expressions showcase the grape's defining power, each reaching at least 13% alcohol. This is deliberate winemaking anchored in the Sagrantino terroir.
