Tenuta di San Donato sits on the northern slopes of Calenzano, fifteen kilometres from Florence, where olive terraces and open fields frame a centuries-old farm complex. A colonial dwelling transformed into a villa in the late 1700s, the estate passed through notable Florentine families before becoming the agritourism destination it is today. Here, Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, and Canaiolo Nero thrive in Toscano IGT conditions, yielding whites, reds, and rosés above 11% alcohol that honour both land and heritage.
