Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli commands 52 hectares in Greve in Chianti at 350 meters elevation, where mineral-rich, south-facing slopes meet a microclimate that coaxes vibrant, fruited character from Sangiovese. Twenty hectares of vineyard—averaging twelve years old—form the estate's foundation, planted to cordone-trained vines that capture the zone's distinctive minerality. The results are three distinct Chianti Classico expressions: a gran selezione, a Riserva DOCG, and a barrique-aged Rosso di Toscana IGT. Each displays the hallmark fruit-forward, full-bodied profile the terroir imparts.
