Tenute Selvolini

The Selvolini family has anchored itself in Volpaia since 1600, when they were merchants; today they cultivate 15 hectares of vines and 4 of olives within the castle walls of this Chianti Classico stronghold. Their oldest plantings date back five decades, with Sangiovese as the dominant variety. Visitors can trace the family's evolution through the medieval streets before tasting in the Ospedaletto dei Cavalieri di Malta—a former hospice transformed into a cellar—where four wines and their extra virgin olive oil reveal the territory's character.
