Tenute Squarcialupi

Tenute Squarcialupi traces its roots to a fifteenth-century palazzo in Castellina in Chianti, where the Squarcialupi family commanded the Val d'Elsa from the medieval hilltop. Since 1980, the estate has been stewarded by the Targioni-Bojola family, who practice organic viticulture to craft Sangiovese-based Chianti Classico reds. The operation blends tradition with experimental winemaking—dried-grape fermentations, natural sulfite-free vinification, and terracotta aging unlock territorial expression without formula.
