Terre Rosse Vallania works within the Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG, where the hills around Bologna yield white wines of distinctive minerality. The producer crafts Pignoletto in three expressions—still, frizzante, and spumante—from Grechetto gentile and other approved white varieties. Each bottling must reach 11.5% alcohol and reflects the calcareous soils that define this eleven-municipality zone. The cellar's focus spans the full spectrum of the denomination's possibilities.
