Tornello Salvatore

Salvatore Tornello produces Patata della Sila IGP, a potato cultivated across the 24 municipalities of Calabria's Sila plateau. This mountain variety concentrates high dry matter, making it exceptionally suited to frying and capable of surviving months in storage without chemical treatment. The elevation and volcanic soil of the Sila generate potatoes with dense flesh and singular cooking properties that distinguish them from lowland varieties.
