Torraccia del Piantavigna stands at the crossroads of two prestigious Piedmont terroirs. Based in Ghemme, the estate commands access to both the Gattinara and Ghemme denominations, where Nebbiolo—locally known as Spanna—forms the backbone of its reds. The producer works across these overlapping zones, blending Nebbiolo with Vespolina and Uva Rara to craft wines of structure and depth. With mandatory aging of 34–35 months, these expressions demand patience, rewarding it with the complex character that defines Northern Piedmont's finest.
