Valle delle lepri

Valle delle lepri, in Coriano within Rimini's Romagna Albana DOCG zone, traces its roots to an unconventional founding principle: wildlife conservation. Silvano Cecchini initiated the estate's name-defining hare protection project, enclosing six vineyard hectares for the species' recovery. This commitment to the land evolved into certified organic farming from 1992 onward. Today, disease management relies exclusively on sulfur and copper; hand-harvesting and manual pruning persist, now complemented by cover cropping, proprietary compost, and biodynamic preparations across the property.
