Valpignola

Valpignola, based in Rome's Frascati zone, produces two expressions of Lazio's classical whites: Cannellino di Frascati DOCG and Frascati Superiore DOCG. Both draw from the region's historic grape palette—Malvasia bianca di Candia and del Lazio, Bellone, Bombino bianco, Greco bianco, and Trebbiano varieties—each vinified to reveal the limestone and mineral character of the Castelli Romani hills.
