Agricoltura Capodarco

In Grottaferrata, in the Castelli Romani area, Agricoltura Capodarco links viticulture to a project that began in 1978 as an agricultural community with a social mission. The result is a unique model, where the production of two Frascati DOCG white wines—the late-harvest Cannellino and the dry Superiore—coexists with the welcoming and work of the people involved. The denomination, here, is not merely technical: it is part of a human story. The wines stem from the classic blend of the area—Malvasia bianca di Candia, Bellone, and complementary grape varieties—expressed in two distinct registers: the dry Superiore and the sweet Cannellino. It's a diptych that tells the two souls of Frascati from the same grapes. The winery is open to visitors, and a visit allows one to discover both the wines and the community that produces them: booking a tasting at the estate is the most direct way to understand how, at Capodarco, the glass and the social project arise from the same gesture.
