Az. Agricola PARRILLA

In Cirò Marina, on the Ionian coast of Calabria, Az. Agricola Parrilla works with two closely related and complementary denominations: Cirò DOC and Melissa DOC. The cornerstone is Gaglioppo, an indigenous grape variety that produces red wines of marked local character, complemented by other local grapes. The current denomination dates back to the 2000s, but behind it lie four generations and almost a century of family knowledge dedicated to viticulture. From cultivation to fermentation, from aging to harvest, every step receives attention that the winery describes as rigorous, in an attempt to reconcile ancestral methods with conscious innovation.
