Azienda Agricola Crosio operates within the DOCG Barbera del Monferrato Superiore, one of Piedmont's most rigorous designations. From Cerrina Monferrato, in the Alessandria area, the winery draws from a region of 212 municipalities known for its long-lived reds. The offering revolves around Barbera, enriched from time to time with Freisa, Grignolino, or Dolcetto in blends aged for at least 14 months. That resting period mandated by the regulations is the key to its character: it lengthens the wine's texture and accentuates its depth and complexity, aligning the winery's choices with the discipline of the Monferrato denomination.
