Azienda Agricola Musso has cultivated Riso di Baraggia Biellese e Vercellese DOP in Carisio since the 1960s, when Lorenzo Musso took over the Cascina Masina estate and extended a family legacy begun in the early 1900s. The producer specializes in Carnaroli rice from the protected Baraggia zone, where the distinctive microclimate and soil yield grains prized for their firm structure and low starch content—the hallmark of superior risotto-making. Today, Musso bottles its harvest in sustainable, plastic-free packaging, honoring both tradition and environmental responsibility.
