Azienda Vinicola Sannino

In Ercolano, on the volcanic slopes of Vesuvius, Azienda Vinicola Sannino works with three protected denominations that each tell a story of the territory's scale. Vesuvio DOC yields mineral-driven red and white wines; Catalanesca del Monte Somma IGT preserves the rare eponymous white grape variety; Pompeiano IGT broadens the scope to ninety-two municipalities. Together, they trace a path from the crater to the Campanian plain. The winery, founded by the Sannino family after decades in the wine industry, combines updated technologies with consolidated practices, without pitting one against the other.
