Baratella s.p.a. carefully selects Radicchio di Verona IGP from the red soils of the Guà, where the Verona plain imparts to each head the dark leaves and slight bitterness that define its identity. Active for over twenty years, the company functions more as a coordination hub than a single producer: it networks 45 agricultural partners within the protected area of 55 municipalities, consolidating harvests under a single traceability system. Supply chain control is the cornerstone of its activity—EUREPGAP compliance since 2002, shared cultivation standards, origin verification—allowing the radicchio to reach Italian and international markets without losing its connection to its native area. The denomination remains singular, but the model behind it is collective: many hands, one certified product.
