Bele Casel
The story of Bele Casel begins in Asolo in the 1980s, when enologist Danilo and his wife inherited a hectare of Malvasia from grandfather Ilario, along with the then-common practice of selling wine in demijohns. Weekends spent in the cellar after working at the distillery gradually shaped a family business, now led by siblings Luca and Paola. The work focuses on two contiguous DOCG denominations: Asolo Prosecco, known for the sparkle and finesse of its hillside slopes, and Montello Rosso, a more structured expression from the same area. The vineyards, distributed across these two protected zones, fuel a distinctly practical philosophy, where the actions in the vineyard and cellar matter more than mere narrative. Visitors can stop by the cellar and taste the wines in the exact place where grapes become wine: it's well worth booking a visit to personally verify the consistency between method and result that the family proudly upholds.
