Bonazzi Dario e Fabio

In San Pietro in Cariano, on the western side of Valpolicella, Dario and Fabio Bonazzi work calcareous soils and glacial deposits that impart fine grain and definition to their Bardolino Superiore DOCG. The grapes specified in the regulations—Corvina veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella—age for twelve months, allowing the wine to build structure and the mineral precision that distinguishes the most successful reds of the Garda basin. This is the winery's sole recognized denomination, and all vineyard and cellar work revolves around it. The offering doesn't end there: white and rosé wines retain the aromatic signature of Lake Garda, while some experimental reds demonstrate how far the two brothers are willing to push their interpretation of the territory.
