Ca' Nova works the Novaresi hills where glacial deposits and Valsesia's volcanic geology create distinctive terroir. Their Nebbiolo-based Gattinara and Ghemme reds draw mineral intensity from these slopes—a mineralité that defines Alto Piemonte's signature style. Founded in 1995 by Milanese newcomers drawn to the region's geological richness and Roman winemaking roots, the estate remains small and focused. Visitors can taste directly on site, experiencing how soil and ancient viticultural knowledge shape each wine's personality.
