🏡 Tastings & visitsAbruzzo DOCCerasuolo d'Abruzzo DOCControguerra DOC+3

In Bucchianico, in the Chieti area, Cantinarte transforms a family's agricultural heritage into six Abruzzo DOC denominations. A single regional profile, but fully expressed: Montepulciano leads the reds and Cerasuolo, Trebbiano handles the whites, while names like Villamagna, Controguerra, and Abruzzo establish different rules and latitudes within the same land. The hand-harvested grapes mature according to stringent protocols: Villamagna requires at least ten months and thirteen degrees of alcohol, while Controguerra lends itself to multiple forms — red, rosé, white — with the versatility its production regulations allow. Six denominations thus compose an almost complete portrait of Abruzzo winemaking, from everyday to the most structured. The winery opens its doors to the public: a visit allows guests to observe how the annual rhythm of the harvest fuels both artisanal work and family ties, and to taste on-site the distinction between a Cerasuolo and a long-aged Montepulciano.
