Cantine Valenti cultivates six distinct contrade — Guardiola, Santo Spirito, Arcuria, Bonanno, Pietramistica, and Corvo — in the Passopisciaro area, on the slopes of Etna. Everything converges into a single denomination, Monte Etna DOP, but the fragmentation into contrade reveals just how non-uniform this volcanic territory is. Soils rich in organoleptic substances, significant diurnal temperature variations, and continuous changes in altitude generate structured and aromatic wines, with a recognizable complexity from vintage to vintage. The mountain, more than just a backdrop, is the defining factor for the character of each parcel.
