Castello D'uviglie sits in Rosignano Monferrato, a Piedmont hilltop commanding the Monferrato landscape. The estate produces Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG, the region's flagship red—a wine demanding 14 months' minimum aging and 13% alcohol. The Castello's cellars work with the four grapes permitted across the appellation's 212 municipalities: Barbera, Freisa, Grignolino, and Dolcetto, blended or alone.
