Dirupi

Dirupi operates in Montagna in Valtellina, at the heart of one of Italy's most demanding Alpine wine regions. The producer focuses on Sforzato di Valtellina DOCG and Valtellina Superiore DOCG, both built on Chiavennasca—the local expression of Nebbiolo. Sforzato demands 20 months of aging and achieves at least 14% alcohol through concentrated fruit, while the Superiore designation requires 24 months and represents the region's most classical red expression. Dirupi welcomes visitors for tastings, offering direct experience of Valtellina's steep-terrain wines.
