Fondazione Fojanini

Fondazione Fojanini in Sondrio stewards two of Valtellina's most demanding expressions. The foundation produces Sforzato—Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) partially dried before fermentation, reaching minimum 14% alcohol and spending 20 months in aging vessels—alongside Valtellina Superiore, the region's leaner, mineral counterpart. Both wines draw from the alpine slopes of their designated zones, where steep vineyards define Lombardy's legendary terrace viticulture.
