I Vinautori emerged from experimental roots in the early 1990s, evolving into a focused producer of Valtellina Nebbiolo. Today, cultivating six hectares of terraced vineyards on either side of Tirano, the estate channels its vision into two DOCG expressions: Valtellina Superiore, built on Nebbiolo aged 24 months minimum, and Sforzato, the area's full-ripeness benchmark at 14% alcohol minimum after 20 months. Their singular approach to Chiavennasca—the Valtellinese name for this mountain Nebbiolo—reflects decades of methodical vineyard work.
