Lurani Cernuschi

At Lurani Cernuschi, vines grow where Augustinian friars once tended them in the 15th century. The winery occupies a restored monastery in Almenno San Salvatore, its cellars anchored beneath the old campanile. Eleven hectares of vineyard roll down the monastery's slope, producing Valcalepio and Terre del Colleoni wines from classic Lombard varietals—Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Pinot Bianco among them. Visitors can tour the estate and taste wines aged according to rigorous DOC protocols, experiencing how monastic heritage meets contemporary winemaking.
