Mirù

Mirù operates in Ghemme, where two prestigious DOCG zones intersect. The producer works within the Ghemme DOCG regulations, blending Nebbiolo, Vespolina, and Uva Rara into complex reds that age a minimum of 34 months. Access to the neighbouring Gattinara DOCG—with its stricter 35-month requirement and higher alcohol threshold—extends Mirù's range. These northern Piedmont terroirs, spanning the Novara hills, demand patience and precision; Mirù's commitment to extended cellaring reflects the regional conviction that time transforms raw power into finesse.
