Nervi commands the volcanic soils of Gattinara, where Nebbiolo (locally called Spanna) ripens to the stringent tannin architecture that defines DOCG red wines here. The winery ages its Gattinara selections for a minimum of 35 months, coaxing structure from the blend of Vespolina and Uva Rara that rounds the frame.
