Pietro Triacca

Since 1897, Pietro Triacca has stewarded Valtellina's steep terraced slopes, where Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) grapes ripen under intense Alpine sun. The producer masters two DOCG expressions: Sforzato, a concentrated red and passito made from dried grapes and aged 20 months, reaching minimum 14% alcohol; and Valtellina Superiore, a structured 12%+ red requiring two years of careful maturation. Each wine embodies the precision of mountain viticulture, where stone-bound vineyards and time itself shape every vintage.
