Poderi Garona

Poderi Garona commands the hillsides of Borgomanero, where two of Piedmont's most exacting denominations—Gattinara and Ghemme—find their expression. The winery works exclusively with the region's classical grapes: Nebbiolo, known here as Spanna, paired with Vespolina and Uva Rara to craft reds demanding patience. Gattinara demands 35 months of aging and a minimum 12.5% alcohol; Ghemme requires 34 months and 12.0%. Both wines carry the structure and complexity that define this corner of Novara's volcanic terroir.
