Rinaldi Riccardo

Rinaldi Riccardo farms the historic terrain of Suno in Novara, commanding two of Piedmont's most demanding terroirs. His Gattinara DOCG demands 35 months of patient aging from Nebbiolo (locally called Spanna), Vespolina, and Uva Rara—a threshold few producers maintain with such rigour. Equally exacting, his Ghemme DOCG, spanning two municipalities across the Novara Hills, requires 34 months minimum maturation and a calibrated blend of the same three grapes. Both wines emerge at minimum 12.5% and 12.0% alcohol respectively, expressions of northern Piedmont's granite-laced soils and continental discipline.
