Based in Cirò Marina, the house works exclusively with the region's signature variety, Gaglioppo, and complementary indigenous red grapes suited to southern Italy's demanding climate. Their output spans Cirò DOC rosso through to superiore and riserva designations—a structured hierarchy that reflects the winery's commitment to expressing terroir across alcohol thresholds from 12.0% upward. The producer also holds rights to Melissa DOC, a broader fourteen-municipality zone where white and red styles further extend their portfolio. Senatore Vini operates at the crossroads of Calabrese authenticity and modern classification rigour.
