Sesterzio

Sesterzio commands the steep vineyards of Berbenno, where Chiavennasca (Nebbiolo) thrives in Valtellina's Alpine terrain. The winery focuses on two DOCG expressions: Sforzato di Valtellina, aged a minimum of 20 months to concentrate power and structure, and Valtellina Superiore, where 24 months of maturation unlock the varietal's mineral precision. Each wine captures the singular conditions of this northern Italian microclimate, where altitude and aspect shape every vintage.
